The Children's Services section provides a variety of children's materials, storytimes, and existing library events throughout the year to promote a lifelong love of reading and learning. books and materials are available in English and Spanish to encourage family reading.

What libraries are offering Curbside Pickup?

Rosewood Main Library – 5655 Jillson St. Commerce, CA 90040

When and what times are pickups available?

Monday – Friday from 10am-5:30p.m.

Who can use Curbside Pickup?

Curbside Pickup is available for current library card holders. Curbside Pickup is not currently available for Digital Card Holders.

How do I reserve items?

You can reserve most titles online or over the phone. At this time, those with Digital Library Cards cannot request items for Curbside Pickup. Digital cardholders only have access to our electronic resources.

Available everyday between 1:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.!

Children and adults – students of all ages - can receive free, live Homework Help with English, Math, Science and Social Studies from any Internet-connected computer, anywhere. Have an essay or resume to write? You can get help with that too! To use the service, students need a Commerce library card. Online homework help in English and Spanish is available from 1:00 to 10:00 p.m. every day, except major holidays.

3D Printing Available at Rosewood Library

What ideas do you want to bring to life?

Find objects to print and submit them to the library for printing using Taz, the Library’s new 3D printer.

The Library’s 3D printer is available to the public to make three-dimensional objects in plastic using a design that is uploaded from a digital computer file. To view our 3D printer policy, procedures for submitting a design and FAQ's, click PDF below.

As our library mission states, “the library provides quality material for the public”, and for this reason, we have gathered updated information regarding information on Deferred Action Childhood Arrivals (DACA) and immigration enforcement. This information is also available in paper form at Rosewood Library. The links and information will be monitored and updated. 

Everyone living in the U.S. has certain basic rights under the United States Constitution. For example, you have the right to remain silent and you may refuse to speak to immigration officers.

No More Overdue Fees for Children’s Materials!

No More Overdue Fees for Children’s Materials!

Starting Monday, April 8, 2019, no late fines will be charged for overdue City of Commerce Public Library children’s materials up to 30 days after the due date.  The Commerce Library wants to promote childhood reading, easy access to children’s books and encourage children and families to use the library.

Items not returned 30 days after the due date will be considered lost and patron’s account will be charged the cost of the item including a processing fee.
