The Children's Services section provides a variety of children's materials, storytimes, and existing library events throughout the year to promote a lifelong love of reading and learning. books and materials are available in English and Spanish to encourage family reading.

3D Printing Available at Rosewood Library

Easy as 1-2-3D Printing!

What ideas do you want to bring to life?

Find objects to print and submit them to the library for printing using Taz, the Library’s new 3D printer.

The Library’s 3D printer is available to the public to make three-dimensional objects in plastic using a design that is uploaded from a digital computer file. To view our 3D printer policy, procedures for submitting a design and FAQ's, click PDF below.

The 2020 Scholarship Application is open!

Thank you for your interest in the City of Commerce Scholarship Program. The Commerce City Council dedicates itself to promote education in the community and is happy to help make a college education more available to you. Studies indicate that a college education helps adults to earn more. According to the Bureau of Labor and Statistics,earnings for both males and females increase with education. Among people age 25 years and older, median weekly earnings generally increase with greater levels of educational attainment. In 2016, those with less than a high school diploma had the lowest median weekly earnings,at $504. Earnings were highest for people with at least a bachelor's degree--$1,156 for those with a bachelor's degree, $1,380 for those with a master's degree, $1,745 for those with a professional degree,and $1,664 for those with a doctoral degree.

As our library mission states, “the library provides quality material for the public”, and for this reason, we have gathered updated information regarding information on Deferred Action Childhood Arrivals (DACA) and immigration enforcement. This information is also available in paper form at Rosewood Library. The links and information will be monitored and updated.

No More Overdue Fees for Children’s Materials!

No More Overdue Fees for Children’s Materials!

Starting Monday, April 8, 2019, no late fines will be charged for overdue City of Commerce Public Library children’s materials up to 30 days after the due date.  The Commerce Library wants to promote childhood reading, easy access to children’s books and encourage children and families to use the library.

Items not returned 30 days after the due date will be considered lost and patron’s account will be charged the cost of the item including a processing fee.
