The Children's Services section provides a variety of children's materials, storytimes, and existing library events throughout the year to promote a lifelong love of reading and learning. books and materials are available in English and Spanish to encourage family reading.

Early Family CenterEarly Family center is at the Bristow Library which provides fun educational toys and a child friendly area for families with young children to play ,read and learn together. |

Starbucks Family Read-InIn the Spring and Fall each year the library and Starbucks hold a Family Read-In event with storytelling, fun activities and refreshments for adults and children. |

National Library WeekThe library celebrates National Library Week each year in April with a special children’s program and community guest readers at library story times. |

Read Across America/Dr. Seuss CelebrationEach year during the first week of March, the library celebrates Read Across America and the books of children’s author Dr. Seuss. |

Children’s Holiday ProgramThe library hosts a special program for children on the first Saturday in December with a guest performer. |

Summer Reading ProgramEvery summer, all children – including babies and toddlers – can register to read books and receive prizes during the summer. |

In-N-Out Burger Reading ProgramEach year in the fall, children ages 4 to 12 years who register and read five books can earn free hamburgers or cheeseburgers from In-N-Out Burger. |
