The library has an extensive collection of young adult materials which includes books, magazines, CDs and DVDs. Teen services include cultural and educational events and outings especially designed for teens, which are held throughout the year.

Reading Away Fines  

Starting Monday, April 8, 2019 thru December 31, 2019, children and teens up to age 17 can read away overdue or lost item fees on their library accounts at a rate of $2.00 for every 15 minutes of reading.

No More Overdue Fees for Children’s Materials!

Starting Monday, April 8, 2019, no late fines will be charged for overdue City of Commerce Public Library children’s materials up to 30 days after the due date.  The Commerce Library wants to promote childhood reading, easy access to children’s books and encourage children and families to use the library.
