Immigrant Resources: Know Your Rights

As our library mission states, “the library provides quality material for the public”, and for this reason, we have gathered updated information regarding information on Deferred Action Childhood Arrivals (DACA) and immigration enforcement. This information is also available in paper form at Rosewood Library. The links and information will be monitored and updated. 

Everyone living in the U.S. has certain basic rights under the United States Constitution. For example, you have the right to remain silent and you may refuse to speak to immigration officers.

Citizenship Information Sessions

November 16th, 5:30 p.m.

The City of Commerce Public Library has teamed up with the United Farm Workers Foundation to bring you a series of information sessions about U.S. citizenship! Whether you're trying to become a citizen yourself or know someone who is, it's sure to be an event you can't miss. Come to any of the sessions to learn about:

  • Benefits of becoming a citizen

  • Problematic situations

  • Fee waivers

  • And much more!
