City of Commerce Pre-Teen Summer Camp 2012

 


The City of Commerce Pre-Teen Camp visited the library seven weeks this summer.  Together, we learned about the Dewey Decimal System and library resources.  We also engaged in a variety of activities and challenges. 

 

The Library 'lympics:

Teen Book Trailer Design Workshop

Tuesday, July 10, 2012 - 1:00pm to 8:00pm

Learn how to make a video trailer for your favorite book!  Check out this one, made for Orson Scott Card's Ender's Game.  And remember...  the Teen Book Club will be meeting on Wednesday, July 25th to discuss Ender's Game.  See you there!

All teens in grades 8-12 can participate in the book club.

The Teen Book Club selection for May is Uprising.

We will be meeting on Wednesday, May 23rd @5:30pm at the Central Library.

All teens in grades 8-12 can participate in the book club.  Please sign up at one of your Commerce libraries.

Join us for the book club meeting and you will be entered into a drawing for free movie tickets.
