Meet H2-D2 — Rosewood Library’s New 3D Printing Droid!
Beep boop! I’m H2-D2, your friendly neighborhood Bambu Lab H2D 3D printer — here to help you turn imagination into reality! And guess what? My services are free for Commerce Library cardholders.
I’m fast. Really fast. I can build objects up to 350 mm × 320 mm × 325 mm, zooming along at 600 mm per second — with detail so fine it’s measured in micrometers (that’s five-millionths of a meter, if you’re curious!). With my four cameras and 36 sensors, I keep a watchful optic on every layer, ensuring your creations come out just right.
So grab your blueprint, and let’s make something amazing together.
It’s as easy as 1-2-3D!
- Create a Design in .STL or G Code File format: Files must be 7MB or smaller. Staff will view all files before adding them to the printing queue. Search pre-existing 3D models on websites like makerworld.com or Thingiverse.com.
- Fill out the 3D submission form: Visit the Reference Desk at Rosewood Library to pick up a form or download it below.
- Let me do the beeping and printing magic!
So… what will you create?

- Allow others to use this free service: There is a three-piece limit per print job. The library will schedule one monthly print per person or entity during high-demand periods.
